Mark Ayers has spent his professional life in fashion and style-related businesses.
He currently owns Cheveux, the premier hair salon in Winston-Salem. Mark manages a staff of 12; and his salon has earned its reputation by offering one-stop salon and day spa services from hair care to microdermabrasion.
Mark creates the hairstyles seen daily on WXII TV12, the major NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem. He has his own line of hair care products – “IT’S ME” – featuring more than 30 exclusive products. Sales are worldwide, including Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Latvia and India.
Local and regional advertising agencies turn to Mark for work that requires a top-flight professional who knows the special demands of their craft. Modern Bride, Carolina Bride, American Salon, Modern Salon, and Jezebel are some of the magazines where Mark’s print work with models has appeared.
He has regularly traveled across the US for national firms Graham Webb, Nucleic A, and Helene Curtis.
When he’s not on the road or at work, Mark enjoys time with his family,His Beautiful wife Connie, two girls, son,and granddaughters. He also makes time for his spiritual work – he shoots and produces videos for churches and missionaries around the world.
Relaxing? When there’s time, Mark enjoys the great outdoors – especially Wake Surfing, Karate, mountain biking, surfing and snowboarding.
Since his start in Karate 2007, Mark has now had the awesome privilege to teach self defense techniques to people in all parts of the world including Asia, Europe, South America, North America, Central America and the Middle East. Mark is also currently a 3rd degree black belt in Sanshinkai Karate and a 3nd degree black belt Israeli style of martial arts called Krav Maga and a second degree black belt in Epizon a system developed for real life self defense that is used all over the world.
